Worker NPCs
The mod's economic layer. Worker NPCs tend the home front — mining, logging and farming the resources an army needs while you're off at war. The Miner is the first role coming to the game.
Roles & stations
Three worker roles are on the way. Each one works a station you build and stock — give them the right tools, and they'll get to work and deposit what they gather back at the station for you.
| Role | Station | Needs | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Miner | Miner Station | Pickaxes | First to arrive |
| Lumberjack | Lumberjack Station | Axes | Planned |
| Farmer | Farmer Station | Seeds | Planned |
How they work
A worker keeps a simple rhythm: check the station for tools, head out to the job, do the work, and bring the haul back. Leave the chest empty and they'll wait at the station and let you know they've nothing to work with.
The Miner digs out from his station and works it methodically, but only across the land your faction holds — your borders are a wall he won't cross.
Skill matters
A worker's speed grows with their skill. A green novice is slow and steady; a seasoned master tears through the same job many times faster. Put your most skilled people where the work matters most.
The Miner is being brought into the game first, with the Lumberjack and Farmer to follow. Expect the worker roster to grow from there — cooks, fishers and guards are on the roadmap.
